1998 Land Rover Defender 110 Camel Trophy

The iconic Camel Trophy was one of the most challenging 4x4 adventure expeditions and competitions in the world, taking place from 1980 to 2000, and was best known for its use of Land Rover vehicles over challenging terrain. Very few of those vehicles survived, and it is extremely rare that an authentic Camel Trophy veteran comes up for sale. Built by the Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations team specifically for the 1998 Tierra Del Fuego Camel Trophy event, this 1998 Land Rover Defender 110 has undergone a full rebuild with genuine Land Rover parts, and has the iconic Camel Trophy livery intact. Under the hood is the 2.5-litre 300tdi turbodiesel inline-four, coupled with the five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes twin fuel tanks, Mantec steering and fuel tank guards, a Warn winch, a Brownchurch bull bar, Hella spot lights, an internal roll bar and external roll cage, a re-galvanised and powder-coated roof rack, a twin battery setup and the correct fitment Michelin XZL tyres.
