1984 Porsche 911 Safari

An off-road Porsche! We love this, partially because its just cool looking and partially because it drives automotive purists up the wall. This crazy cool 911 was transformed into an off-roading beast by famed Wisconsin racecar builder Kelly-Moss. The unique build started as an old, beat up, raced, and used up 911 from 1984, and over the course of about 10 months every piece of the car was apart, replaced, renewed, rebuilt, or reimagined. The rugged overlander was fitted with massive BG Goodrich tires, a custom-made roll cage inside, a custom roof rack, three LED curved light bars, front and rear Brembo brakes, Elephant Racing suspension, a 17 gallon fuel cell, Recaro Leather seats, a Momo Prototipo steering wheel, and yeah, these are just the highlights. To power the beast, their is a modified 3.4-liter flat-six that develops 340 horsepower (254 kilowatts), handled by a built 915 manual gearbox.
