1969 Shelby GT350 B Production Fastback

Presenting the captivating story of the 1969 Shelby GT350 B Production Fastback, a racecar with a remarkable journey. Originally a Silver Jade GT500, it faced theft and damage, leading to its transformation into a racing icon. Purchased by Jerry Lecatse of ABC Auto Wreckers, it underwent modifications, including a Boss 302 engine and Grabber Green paint. Racing in B Production from 1973 to 1975, Lecatse sold it to Gordon and Nancy Gimbel, who further evolved it into a GT1-class racer.

After acquiring it in 1982, Gary Goeringer aimed to restore its racing glory. A fire damaged the car in storage, but a restoration journey began in 1994 with hot-rodder Doane Spencer. Completed in 2012 by specialist Dave Mani, the Shelby boasts meticulous attention to detail. With continuous vintage racing success and extensive documentation, this GT350 is a testament to its enduring legacy. Now, under current ownership since 2012, it eagerly anticipates further participation in historic racing events globally.
