Floyd Platform Bed

Floyd, an Ikea-alternative furniture maker from Detroit, and creators of the popular "Floyd Leg" have now presented the Floyd Platform Bed. The DIY bed is a minimal, easy-to-assemble bed frame that’s modular and fits into any bedroom, any space with ease. The bed ships easily and can be put together (or taken apart) in minutes, no tools required. Available in white and black, the steel brackets slide on and fit snugly along the edge of the wood panels. A tensioning strap pulls the system together, keeping everything tight, in place, and anchored. The platform is low to the ground, the idea being to get the mattress off the floor but keep a casual, headboard-free look. Available in twin, queen, or king size. watch the video below
