Wavegarden

Wavegarden is a man-made surfing lagoon built deep in Spain´s Basque Country. Wavegarden features a patented technology, a hydrodynamic "wave foil” that runs along the bottom of the lagoon to create a swell, generating perfectly formed tubing waves that run for more than 220 m without losing power or shape. Designed with minimal environmental impact and energy output, Wavegarden generates 120 waves per hour, promising continual enjoyment for those far from the coastline. Wavegarden are looking to expand their innovative technology, this year many new Wave Gardens will be popping up all over the world, it can be applied to any size lagoon, bigger the lagoon, bigger the wave! watch the cool video

Designed by Design Studio S, Tokyo´s newest hotel takes minimalism to a new level. 9h Hotel is designed using only four colors, it stacks its guest into pods to sleep for no more than 9 hours. Each guest is allotted one hour to shower, seven hours to sleep and a final hour to rest. Each pod is equipped with Panasonic control panels for setting the ambiance.
