Suzuki Katana

Suzuki have unveiled the all-new 2019 Katana, a tribute to the ultimate 80s sportsbike. Born in 1981, the original Suzuki Katana became an instant legend for its iconic styling and for its outstanding performance. Now, lovers of that 80s motorcycle icon can celebrate as Suzuki has announced its triumphant return in the form of the Katana GSX-R1000. The new bike uses the famed original as its inspiration, with sharp-edged lines, and is powered by a 999cc GSX-R1000 engine, good for 150 horsepower, and around 80 pound-feet of torque. Other notable features include a three-mode Traction Control System, brakes by Fujico and Brembo, 17-inch wheels, LED lighting, an 825 mm (32.5 in) seat height and ABS. Well done Suzuki.
