Volkswagen e-BULLI Electric Microbus

Volkswagen has teamed up with Stuttgart-based EV-conversion company eClassics, for this gorgeous all-electric Microbus based on the classic T1 Samba Bus produced in 1966. Named e-BULLI, the vintage Volkswagen-turned EV had its original 32 kW four-cylinder boxer engine replaced with a VW modern 61 kW electric motor, giving it two times the torque than the original combined with a top speed of 80 mph (130 kph). The vintage Kombi also features a retuned chassis, a new suspension system, and a lower center of gravity, making it a sharper-handling minivan than the original model. A new rack-and-pinion steering system was also put in, and four-wheel disc brakes were installed. The price for an e-BULLI, starts at €64,900 ($69,500), and in case this T1 conversion doesn’t fit your fancy, eClassics says it will convert both T2 and T3 vans, as well.
