Fern GS Chacha Dakar Touring Bike

Fern is a small touring bicycle and component manufacturer based in Berlin - Germany. It was founded by two traveling cyclists / design graduates – Flo and Phillip – who after thousands of miles on the road together wanted to put their touring experience into making their own practical and beautiful bikes for fellow travelers. Fern was born out of friendship, a shared lust for adventure, and curiosity. Their latest build named "GS Chacha Dakar" was designed correspondingly to the iconic BMW R 80 GS raced by Gaston Rahier 1983 in the famous Paris-Dakar desert rally. Like the renown motorcycle, the  Chacha touring bike is a very fast and reliable enduro machine, where you can go everywhere no matter if going on or offroad. Built for hard desert crossings, the sleek ride is a hybrid of a long-distance cycling bike and a mountain bike, it is a true performance travel companion, very light weight but strong enough to go on even the hardest trips. Available with ultralight 26inch wheels, every Fern bike is built to order and customized with components and accessories according to customer requirements.
