Audi E-Tron Dakar Rally Car

Set to compete in one of the world´s toughest Rally races, meet the RS Q e-tron, a purpose-built car that shares nothing with any current Audi production models. The hybridized off-road beast will compete in the 2022 Dakar Rally in January, and is powered by an e-drivetrain system that produces 500kW of power and is aided by a TFSI engine that helps charge the high-voltage battery on the trail as there are no places to charge anywhere on the trail. Two electric motors from Audi´s Formula E program power all four wheels, with a total output of 670 horsepower. watch the video below
