1985 Porsche 959 Paris-Dakar

Undoubtedly one of the coolest Porsches in history, is the Paris-Dakar 959 race car of the 1980s. Now, auction house RM Sothebys has announced that one of the three 1985 Paris-Dakar 959s is going up for sale at their 70th Anniversary sale. Painted in the iconic Rothmans paint colors, the unique car was originally raced by multiple Paris-Dakar winner René Metge in the 1985 Paris-Dakar rally. We can expect such a rare and historic car is going to command a high price at the auction that will take place at the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta, Georgia, over the weekend of October 27.
