1965 Shelby 289 Cobra Alloy

World famous classic car auction company RM auctions will be auctioning one special vehicle, a chance to own the ultimate sports car, and an important piece of American history. The spectacular 1965 Shelby 289 Cobra Alloy Continuation is finished off in stunning polished aluminum bodywork, and is in pristine condition. It was originally purchased new by the man himself Carroll Shelby for his personal collection in 1965, and was garage kept, preserved in like-new condition, and has only 56 original miles on the odometer. This Cobra is outfitted with a 427-cubic inch V-8 that can pump out 525 horsepower, and will be auctioned on November 15th, with an expected price tag ranging from $350,000 to $500,000. via
