Loona Pet Robot
Loona is taking Kickstarter by storm, and you can se why, this cute pet robot has unbelievable lifelike expressiveness and movement. Developed by a team of former Pixar and DreamWorks animators, Loona is a smart, intuitive, affectionate, and playful little Petbot that will provide children with both educational stimulation and a new best friend. Loona functions with realistic pet behaviors and motion performances, such as running after a ball and following you. Loona can perform face recognition, body detection, gesture recognition, 3D motion capture, object recognition, emotion perception, label recognition, and more. And because it has has a number of sensors on board, it can interact with users via facial, movement, body, object, gesture, voice and emotion recognition.
Loona can also map the surrounding environment quickly and move freely around the house in a 360-degree radius, also preventing herself from falling when an edge is near. It is also equipped with a camera and a speaker, so when you are away, you can monitor your home remotely trough an app on your phone. watch the video below
