Sphero | Smartphone Controlled Ball
U.S. company Orbotix will begin selling by the end of the year a robotic ball with LED light connected via bluetooth and controlled with an app on your Android or iPhone as if it were a remote controlled car. It has a range of around 50 feet and requires no power connection to charge, it has included a induction charge system that feeds the power directly from the smartphone used as a remote control. The Sphero features many other functions: LED lights inside that can be customized by the owner, a boost mode that gives you the strength to overcome several obstacles...hours of fun!
