Uber Self-Driving Cars
Starting at the end of this month in Pittsburgh, Uber will be providing a fleet of autonomous Volvo XC90 SUVs, all summoned by the app to take passengers where they want to go. Uber have teamed up with Volvo for their own autonomous driving project, they will install their own driverless control system for the specific needs of their ride-hailing service. They have been modified to include an array of sensors, cameras, laser systems, radar and GPS so that they can fully drive themselves.
